Born in Holdenville, Oklahoma in 1940. Studied at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles .Reviews led to his first commisssion as an illustrator which was followed by his paintings being published and his work appearing as cover art for magazines. He was staff art director for Westerner Magazine where many of his drawings appeared. Numerous articles about the artist have appeared in publications including Southest Art Magagazine, and Art of The West Magazine. Besides his western subject matter, the artist is equally collected for his Americana subject which includes young boys and girls and the farmlands they grew up in. The artist teaches on a yearly basis at the Scottsdale Art School in Arizona.
