Born
in Chicago, Illinois in 1946. Received his early art training from
his father, a well known illustrator of religious subjects, and
continued his art studies at the Chicago Art Institute. His most
impressive work at that time was, "Stations of the Cross"
which was painted for the Catholic Church of Chicago. After studying
at the New York Art Students League he moved to Taos, New Mexico
where he began to paint the native Americans.. Within a few years
he moved his studio to Los Angeles where over the years he developed
a remarkable ability for presenting the special qualities revealed
by the American Indian. To get closer to his subject matter, the
artist moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. His spirited and brilliantly
colored paintings are sought after by collectors throughout the
world.
