Born in Missoula, Montana
in 1937. Studied at the Portland Art Museum, Rhoad Island School
of Design, B.S. in Painting and Drawing, University of Oregon, M.F.A.,
and University of Oregon, B.S. Philosophy. Worked as a technical
illustrator and mechanical draftsman, advertising illustrator, and
taught at the School of Architecture and Allied Artists, and as
Instructor of Arts at the Maude Kerns Art Center, and as Assistant
Professor of Art at the Lane Community College. Exhibitions include
University of Oregon Museum of Art, Portland Museum of Art, 10 State
Bicentenneal, Great Falls, Montana, Art About Agriculture Juried
Award at Oregon State University, American Artist Golden Anniversary
National Exhibition Award, All Oregon Art Annual Juried First Place
Award, Art U.S.A. Juried Western Colorado Center For the Arts. Featured
article in American Artist Magazine, December 1989. Noted for his
photo realistic paintings of landscapes, florals and still-lifes.
