Born in Manila, Philippines in 1948. Received his commercial art degree from the Feati University in Manilla. In 1979 the artist moved to Los Angeles.The artist enjoys painting outdoors and his landscapes are characterized by forceful brushstrokes and bold broken color.His lively impressionistic work with emphasis on light and atmosphere is a departue from his earlier paintings which were painted in a semi-abstract style. The artist is a member of the California Pleine Aire Society.
