Mitja Roji: Born in Yugoslavia
in 1950. Self Taught. At the age of sixteen he held his first one-man
show which was a sell-out. This success was followed by exhibitions
in Greece, Italy, and France. He came to the United States in 1970
and exhibited his works in Los Angeles, Denver, New York, Washington
D.C. and Miami. His imaginative interpretations of both still-life
and wildlife with intricate designs have attracted many collectors
which included actor Paul Newman, Governor George Wallace, and art
collector Vincent Price.
