Born in the 40's in rural western Tennessee, the artist had no formal training until he met fellow artist Wade Reynolds who encouraged him to pursue a career in art.The first few years he painted scenes of early Los Angeles which was commisioned by Security Pacific National Bank, and the law firm of O'Melveny and Myers. Some time after he became involved in figurative drawing and painting and his precise technique soon attracted collectors throughout southern California. He is best known for his super-realistic drawings and paintings of male and female Nudes.
