Born in China in 1946. Received
B.A. degree from Wuhan Teachers College, China, and his M.A, degree
from Wuhan University. The artist had his first one-man show in
the East Stroudsburg State University in Pennsylvania in 1981 which
was followed by his next one-man show at the Dutot Museum in Pennsylvania,
and in 1982 at Lehigh University. His work is represented in the
permanent exhibit in Hubei Hall in China's Conress Building - The
Great People's Hall, and has exhibited in many National Art exhibitions
in China including Guangzhou and Beijing. He holds many teaching
positions in China including Dean of Design Department, Guangzhou
Institute of Fine Arts, and has been a guest professor and lecturer
at universities and institutes throughout China. His work has been
reviewed and critiqued in over 200 periodicals, magazines, and newspapers
on art, history, design, architecture, civilization and culture.
The artist currently resides in Los Angeles and teaches at the Art
Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
